Mediterranean state of Europe constituted by the long peninsula of the same name, the Po plain, the Alps, Sicily and Sardinia islands.

For its extension it’s the seventh European state, but for its absolute population it is the second. Italy due to its position in Mediterranean has contributed to the development of Europe and its culture.

The overpopulation and the unemployment were reasons for the emigration; people from Italy decided to look for another country to live well, and America was a good option, especially USA and Argentina. Italy as other countries of Europe lived serious problems during the First and Second World War, but it was not an obstacle to deny the later development.

Italy has a lot of tourist places for example the real palace of Turín, Venice, Rome, Génova (Piazza della Liberta), Milan, etc. Exist many monuments and pictures that it shows us the quality of culture of Italy.

Italy is a good country and it has been an example of economic and cultural improvement for everybody.

Everything that I wrote I got it from differents sources like a dicctionaries, books and internet. Thomas suggest me that I write ideas from my mind, and I think it's ok. The way of this blog is that we try to write our ideas and knowledges about some contry, maybe experinces of trips.

I wrote about Italy because someday I would like to travel there. I like this contry a lot, especially its art and its culture. So I like so much AC Milan Team, the actually Champion of Champions League. Finally I can say that Italian lenguage is nice too and I love italian food.

Holland

Holland is real name is Kingdom of the Netherlands, is a very small country at the north west of Europe, so is easy to travel to all of it.

It Capital is Amsterdam and is often referred to as one of the most colorful cities in the world.

It official language is the Neerlandes. Also is popular English and Frison.

It goverments is a constitutional monarchy, and has a queen and a first minister that acts as a president.

It currency is the Euro.

Holland is very famous for it flowers exhibitions the whole year around, but the most interesting attraction is the tulipan events. Holland is also well known for its liberal policies about drugs, prostitution, abortion, etc.

Chocolate is an aroma wich in general refers us to moments and situations in our collective and individual memory. Its perfume readily reminds us of our childhood.

The story of chocolate is long and involved..

It comes from an ancestrally sacred sacred fruit, as the cacao is, a fruit which originates on the American continent. It is present in Mexico, Central and South America, in areas with a warm tropical climate such as Ecuador, Venezuela, Brazil and Ghana.

The chocolate in adition to being rich in calcium and vitamins, has among its components the endorphin directly related with falling in love and pleasure.

In today`s globalized world chocolate has benn integrated into beauty and relaxation treatments in the best known Spas.

The Lindt Swiss chocolate factory has just launched a bar of chocolate called Ecuador onto the market, in homage to its base product which, on the old continent, is considered to be of very good quality.

Its name bears a direct relationship with magic in the movies which evoke it; "Like water for chocolate" "Chocolate" among others.

It is also par excellence, one of the best presents in the world, not just for Saint Valentine`s Day, but in general on all occasions. It is a delicious product which possesses magic and nostalgia and wich opens channels of sensuality and excess.

The Beatles

This group gained much experience while playing in Hamburg, Germany and in November 1961, during a Cavern Club concert in Liverpool, the Beatles was spotted by Brian Epstein. By following year, Brian secured a record contract for the group. Beatlemania was about to begin!

The 1950 was a period of great change and excitement for Britain. Merseyside in particular, experienced an upsurge in youth and music culture. Liverpool at the time was a flourishing port of trade and had close links with America and other international countries. Young sailors came and went, bringing with them a new kind of music "Rock and Roll ".

In 1957 Paul McCartney and John Lennon, who were already involved in the music scene individually, met at a church fete and formed the embryo of The Beatles. George Harrison joined the band shortly after, followed by Pete Best, their original drummer. The group were known as The Quarrymen and began to play gigs around the City. The band had several different names before settling on The Beatles.

Following this, The Beatles made their first film "A Hard Days Night", before embarking on a world tour encompassing Australia, the Far East and again, America. Eventually hysterical fans made live performances impossible. The Beatles performed their last concert in Candlestick Park, San Francisco on 29th August 1966.

The Love

The love is a group of feelings manifested between people that develop emotional intelligence. The love is not only given in people, also in all those that can develop the emotional relationships, as the animals.
The love is a feeling, an emotion that a person feels for other or several people. This feeling is real, true, and disinterested. The love begins with the feeling of attraction and the admiration of a person toward other that it can be or not to be corresponded.
This feeling is a mental state that it grows or it falls depending of like feed for people that compose the loving nucleus, this can create in people the desire of happiness, well being, of another person.
The most important thing in the love is the trust, the understanding, the respect and the sincerity, because all are related and these are indispensable in a relationship, and so that this settles down well.

Robbie Williams

He is a singer who was born on february 13, 1904- England, is a Grammy Award-nominated and winning English singer songwriter.

His career started as a member of the pop band Take That in 1990, which he left in 1995 after selling 25 million records, to begin his solo career. Williams entered in the The Guinness Book of World Records when he announced his World Tour for 2006, selling 1.6 million tickets in one single day.

Throughout his 17 year career, both as a member of "Take That" and as a solo artist, Robbie has sold more than 100 million albums, singles & DVDs worldwide.
I wrote about this singer because I like his music and if somebody interest can know more about him.

When We are children dream to be a policeman, a doctor or anything but the time passes rapidly and when we realize the most of all our dreams aren´t reality. That is because the life carry us by differents ways so we must custom to that, someones get married, have to work or travel to get money for their family, and a few can reach their subjects.

But everybody should fight to improve their life, doing the best in their work, study and always to dream because the life is shorter than one thinks.

I hope that you understand this article and allow me to improve my english level because sometimes I get worried for it. This language is a little hard but I willn´t give up.

Cuenca is very small coparative with other cities, but in it you can find all what you want,,,, Cuenca's night are wonderful, you can find many differents places where you can divert as you prefer..... Traditional food are very delicious you can find different tastes.

Global Warning

Is the observed increase in the average temperature of the Eart`s atmosphere and oceans in recent decades.
The Earth's average near-surface atmospheric temperature rose 0.6 ± 0.2 °Celsious (1.1 ± 0.4 °Farenheit) in the 20th century. A widespread scientific opinion on climate change is that "most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is atributable to human activities".
The increased amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases (GHGs) are the primary causes of the human-induced component of warming. They are released by the burning of fossil fuels, land clearing and agriculture etc. and lead to an increase in the greenhouse efect. The first speculation that a green house effect might occur was by the Swedish chemist Svante Arrhenious in 1897, although it did not become a topic of popular debate until some 90 years later.

THE FUTURE WORLD

This is the world where we are going to live if we don´t take care about it. We will never enjoy the water again like in the present, where you can take a shower for an hour, or you can drink a glass of clean water, or you can wash the car without any preocupation if there is or not water.

I think in the future, it could be the 2070, our children won`t know how to enjoy the water because they won`t have it. Instead of take a shower they will have to clean up their bodies with humed towels and our animals and vegetation will desappear. Our trees won´t have that beautiful green color and our earth will become like in the picture. And the aspect of the humans will be terrible because we won´t have the comodities like now. For these little reasons we have to think about how to conserve our world and ofcourse the water, because you don´t want that our future children live in the place i mentioned in the upside paragraph. Think about and don´t continue ruin this beautiful world.

History of medicine

The earliest type of medicine in most cultures was the use of plants (Herbalism) and animal parts. This was usually in concert with 'magic' of various kinds in which: animism (the notion of inanimate objects having spirits); spiritualism (here meaning an appeal to gods or communion with ancestor spirits); shamanism (the vesting of an individual with mystic powers); and divination (the supposed obtaining of truth by magic means), played a major role.
The practice of medicine developed gradually, and separately, in ancient Egypt, India, China, Greece, Persia and elsewhere. Medicine as it is practiced now developed largely in the late eighteenth century and early nineteenth century in England (William Harvey, seventeenth century), Germany (Rudolf Virchow) and France (Jean-Martin Charcot, Claude Bernard and others). The new, "scientific" medicine (where results are testable and repeatable) replaced early Western traditions of medicine, based on herbalism, the Greek "four humours" and other pre-modern theories.[citation needed] The focal points of development of clinical medicine shifted to the United Kingdom and the USA by the early 1900s (Canadian-born) Sir William Osler, Harvey Cushing). One problem with this 'best practice' approach is that it could be seen to stifle novel approaches to treatment.

Throughout the twentieth century, major advances in the treatment of infectious diseases were observable in (Western) societies. The medical establishment is now developing drugs targeted towards one particular disease process. Thus drugs are being developed to minimise the side effects of prescribed drugs, to treat cancer, geriatric problems, long-term problems (such as high cholesterol), chronic diseases type 2 diabetes, lifestyle and degenerative diseases such as arthritis and Alzheimer's disease

The practice of medicine combines both science as the evidence base and art in the application of this medical knowledge in combination with intuition and clinical judgment to determine the treatment plan for each patient.
Central to medicine is the patient-physician relationship established when a person with a health concern seeks a physician's help; the 'medical encounter'. Other health professionals similarly establish a relationship with a patient and may perform various interventions, e.g. nurses, radiographers and therapists.
As part of the medical encounter, the healthcare provider needs to:
develop a relationship with the patient
gather data (medical history, systems enquiry, and physical examination, combined with laboratory or imaging studies (investigations))
analyze and synthesize that data (assessment and/or differential diagnoses), and then:
develop a treatment plan (further testing, therapy, watchful observation, referral and follow-up)
treat the patient accordingly
assess the progress of treatment and alter the plan as necessary (management).
